Der Vortrag ist, ausgehend von Freuds “Entwurf”, eine Reflexion über die Bewegungen eines poetisch und rhetorisch zu verstehenden Sprechens des erotischen Körpers.

Professor Sharon-Zisser ist Psychoanalytikerin in Tel Aviv und unterrichtet Englische und Amerikanische Literaturwissenschaft an der dortigen Universität. Ihre Arbeit beschäftigt sich derzeit mit dem Verhältnis von Rhetorik und Psychoanalyse.

Der Vortrag bildet den Auftakt zu einem Workshop über Freuds „Entwurf einer Psychologie“ von 1895, der am 7. und 8. Januar in deutscher Sprache stattfindet. Das Programm dieses Workshops finden Sie im Anhang zu diesem Newsletter.

Shirley Sharon-Zisser kündigt ihren Vortag so an:

My talk will return to Freud’s Project for a Scientific Psychology from the perspective of “psychorhetoric” as re-turn (French re-tour) to the void (Hebrew /rik/) as the cause of psychic life whose precipitates include the toric at once as erogenous rim and as object. Specifically, I will examine Freud’s treatment of the category of movement (Bewegung) as a juncture which makes it possible to say something more about what Lacan in Encore called the “confused embrace” between jouissance and the signifier. What Freud’s treatment of movement in the Project reveals is that this relation is not limited either to corporization or signifiantization, not to the incidence of language on the flesh that enjoys nor to the forms in which the enjoying flesh speaks. It involves operativity of enjoying flesh in signifiers and linguistic forms, constitutive of erogenous organs and the objects that are the precipitates cut off from them no less than of the components of the unconscious and the combinatory mechanisms in which they do not cease to move. The result is an aesthetics of the body that speaks in elocutionary and poetic forms no less than in somatic symptoms, which is not without incidence on analytic practice.
